Poles Apart.

Unbelievably, there are still a lot of people who do not believe in global warming. How you cannot believe in something that is so blatantly obvious I don’t know but it is sadly common.
Depending on whom it is that you talk to, you can be given all manner of alternative reasons for what is happening to our world. Many politicians do not even see global warming as a real threat to the planet. Meanwhile, whilst everyone is bickering about whether it is ‘real’ or not, the Earths’ other native creatures are suffering.
The latest in the long line of eco-victims is the polar bear. In a roundabout way, the growth of this beautiful creature is being affected. It does not seem right to me that the animals should pay for what mankind has done (and is still doing) to the planet. Out of every species it is we who are the most destructive.
In the relatively short time that we have spent on the Earth we have done untold and irreversible damage to the animal kingdom and the environment.
Why can we not learn to respect our planet and its’ other inhabitants?

On a different subject, I’ve nailed the stuff over on the diesel fuel storage tank page. It’s never as liked as the joke I delivered for the page, I’ll run with it for the moment. As long as I keep the company on side, it’ll do for me!
