Funky Buddha Lounge - Brighton club for a rockin night out!

Brighton! What a town. If you have never been out on the razzle in Brighton, you need to get yourself up and do it. Sometimes places are difficult to find, sometimes you have to go on a real treasure hunt to dig up the little gems that are waiting for you. But man, when you find them, what gems they are! We all know the famous places to go, London, Paris… Ibetha still holds the crown for a good clubbing holiday. But the little treasure that is tucked away waiting for you to come and discover it is Brighton.

So I went down on the train, bacon butty, overpriced tea from the vending machine at the change over at the station in London, copy of the sun, jobs a good’n. Chatted to the real nice looking lovely sitting oposite me. I made the mistake of trying to impress her with some simple card magic tricks and completely messed it up. I should know better than that by now. Got into Brighton in good time and headed over to the cafe where I was meeting up with the group.

Few drinks and a smoke, and suddennly the evening is kicking and I’m in the middle of it all! We were in a club called the funky buddha lounge on kings road arches. It’s not the biggest of places but man was it pumping. This is what I was trying to explain about hunting out the little treasures. This place was awesome. Great atmosphere… and the brighton ladies! I mean a few of them had what everyone refered to as the botox brighton look, you know the one, just a little too much cosmetic surgery done on the face. Nothing wrong with a bit if botox, it’s just when you push it too far to the point where you go from being crafted and beautiful to being plastic. There weren’t too many of them mind, so all good.

The highlight of the night though - the DJ slammed in “Bass in the Place” by public domain just at the right moment! Man it was awesome! Really kickin! Last few times I’ve been out, I clubbed in London. I tell you now, Brighton is cheeper, fiendlier with more lovelys and better music.

What more can you ask for?
